Using this website https://www.joliecarte.com implies acceptance of these general terms of use. Cost of Use

Joliecarte.com is 100% free for the sender and the recipient. Sending a virtual card by email and Facebook is free. Sending a card by SMS is also free; it is deducted from the sender's mobile plan. Sending a card by SMS is not surcharged by https://www.joliecarte.com to either the sender or the recipient. No subscription is necessary to send a card by SMS. There is also no application to download. There is no payment method of any kind on joliecarte.com; using the joliecarte.com site and sending a card is 100% free for all visitors, senders of JolieCarte cards, and recipients of JolieCarte cards.

Access Conditions

The service is accessible at https://www.joliecarte.com. Joliecarte.com endeavors, as much as possible, to keep the site accessible 7 days a week and 24 hours a day, except in cases of force majeure, events beyond its control, technical problems, or hosting issues. Joliecarte.com is in no way responsible for these interruptions and the consequences that may result for the user or any third party. The use of the service by minors is subject to the express and prior authorization of parental authority and is placed under their responsibility.

Liability

The user of joliecarte.com's services is solely responsible for their use and guarantees the provider against any illicit, non-compliant, and/or unauthorized use of the service. The user is solely responsible for the content and nature of the messages/photos/videos sent while using the service. The use of "JolieCarte cards" to harass a recipient is strictly prohibited. It is recalled that the "JolieCarte cards" sent by the user from the service constitute private correspondence, and the messages exchanged are protected by the secrecy of correspondence. Joliecarte.com, under these conditions, cannot control their content and shall not be held liable for it. Joliecarte.com uses all technical means at its disposal to send the JolieCarte cards to their recipients; however, in the rare cases where the virtual card does not reach its destination (for example, if the recipient's email server rejects the card), the user cannot take legal action against Joliecarte.com.

Termination, Suspension, or Closure of Access to the Service

Joliecarte.com reserves the right to delete outright and/or suspend access to the service or certain of its features, without notice or indemnity, in the event of the user's failure to comply with any of the obligations undertaken, or use for purposes other than those authorized, and in the event of a massive sending of JolieCarte cards, which is then considered abusive use of the service.

1 - The Card Sending Form

Sender information such as first name, last name, and sender email address are used to present the card receipt to the recipient ("from"). This information can be modified with each card send or in the member area of the site.

2 - The Card Newsletter

If the user subscribes to the card newsletter, Joliecarte.com may send users information about current holidays, new items, and other news from the joliecarte.com website. A link is present in every newsletter email to unsubscribe without needing to log in. Joliecarte.com commits not to sell or share the email addresses of users subscribed to the newsletter with anyone.

3 - The Member Account

The passwords for joliecarte.com user member accounts are encrypted and secured in the joliecarte.com database. Joliecarte.com does not have access to its users' plain-text passwords and will never send a plain-text password by email.

Right of Access, Rectification, and Opposition
